Yesterday, members of Kent Roosevelt Rough Riders football and basketball teams visited Athena Gardens and Heritage Knolls, two of PMHA’s Kids Summer Camp sites to conduct mini camps wit out youth attendees. The kids participated in skill-building drills and fun games, enjoyed pizza, and received youth camp t-shirts.
We greatly appreciate this partnership with the coaches and their student athletes. A big shout out to Kardell Jackson (Head Football Coach), Curtis Black (Head Basketball Coach), and Rod Moxley Jr. (Assistant Coach) for making these mini camps possible. We thank them and the Rough Rider athletes for coming to our summer camp site, and we look forward to them returning to our sites in the future.
