City of Kent, Ravenna & Windham Residential Rental License Requirements

Attention all Section 8 Landlords: Did you know that if you are a landlord with a rental unit located in the city of Ravenna, Kent, or Windham you are subject to Residential Rental Licensing requirements? Residential rental dwellings must be licensed and inspected anually to assure that each unit is maintained according to each municipalities codes and regulations. Once a rental license is issued you will be required to submit a copy of the license to the Housing Authority. The licensure will be required prior to a new contract being executed and upon annual recertification. Please note, licensure from the city does not fulfill the HUD Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inpsection requirements. If you any questions pertaining to rental licensing please contact the city in which your residential rental dwelling is located or the PMHA office.
