Community Partners Help PMHA Fulfill its Mission in Portage County

PMHA AND ITS PARTNERS STRENGTHEN PORTAGE COUNTY

They say it takes a village. That’s why PMHA collaborates with local Portage County agencies and community partners to fulfill the needs of our residents and program participants. Whether it’s a transportation need, educational assistance, or family support, Portage County has the resources our residents need to live safe, stable, and independent lives.

OUR COMMUNITY RESOURCES ARE READY TO SERVE

Imagine if you’re struggling with the everyday elements that many people take for granted: nourishing food, clean water, shelter, healthcare. Now imagine that you’ve finally got those fundamentals covered, but just barely. Then your car stops working or you don’t have enough food to make it through the end of the month. And you just want to be able to stay in school, feed your family, and keep working on holding your own.

The good news is we can make sure our housing programs participants get the help they need, right in Portage County. We’re fortunate to have a range of local agencies and community organizations ready to support. If a participant needs rent or utilities assistance, help writing their resume, or nutrition support for their children, we know where to send our participants to solve those problems.

In Portage County, there are many partner organizations that can keep our participants headed in the right trajectory. A few examples include:

COMMUNITY ACTION COUNCIL OF PORTAGE COUNTY (CAC)
