Portage Metropolitan Housing Authority seeks a Housing Specialist to assist with eligibility verification for rental assistance, perform rent calculations and enter data regarding program participants into computerized data base, schedule and conduct meetings with applicants and participants, assist in contract preparation, determine eligibility of housing units for Section 8. To be successful, the individual must be courteous with co-workers and public while dealing with numerous interruptions and communicate well in both written and spoken English. Applicant will be subject to driving, drug and background checks.  $17.67 – $19.44/hr plus Employer paid benefits.
